EH - 101 CORMORANT

Description

This version of the EH-101 helicopter, specialising in sea searches and rescue missions, was developed by the Italo-English production consortium to the requirements of the Canadian Armed Forces. It was based on the anti-submarine and transport versions supplied to the English and Italian navies. The Cormorant has sophisticated electronics based on a high performance radar and all-weather, night vision systems which, combined with the crafts very generous range and ample load capacity make it ideal for sea patrolling even in the severe operating conditions of the Canadian seas.
