MH-60 Black Hawk is a dedicated version specially developed for
the operational needs of U.S. special forces. The first to receive the modified
Black Hawk were the "Night Stalkers" of 160th Special Operations Regiments based
at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. Equipped with advanced avionics, air refueling
probe, viewers embedded in the windshield, radar able to follow the terrain,
laser rangefinder and a number of passive defense systems, are the ideal
instrument for rapid and effective raids of the American special forces . Even
more updated versions have been used by U.S. special forces in the most recent
anti-terrorist actions and in theaters of operations particularly difficult and
hostile.
