Dear Friends, here below we are proud to show you some exclusive images of the new Junkers Ju-87 D-5 Stuka, 1/48 Scale, which will be launched on next May.
Historical Highlights
The Junkers Ju-87 was the most famous dive bomber of World War II. Associated with the German "blitzkrieg" strategy based on the strong co-ordination between the Panzer Divisions and the Luftwaffe air force, the Junkers Ju-87 became the symbol of Axis’ victories between 1939 and 1941. Its aerodynamic shape and design was characterized by the inverted gull wings and the robust fixed undercarriage. Although suffered of some weaknesses, such as the low speed, poor maneuverability and limited defensive weapons, it was used on all the main fronts and for the whole duration of the war. It was developed in different versions. In particular, the version D-5 has been designed to optimize the effectiveness as ground-attack aircraft thanks to the introduction of more powerful offensive weapons, a longer range and an higher diving speed.
Some new molds just realized: wings, engine details, transparent.
