The book, through extensive documentary and photographic research, will point out the main “milestones” of Italeri History. Here below a very short preview of the main chapters.

A story of people : from the first scale model plane, the Italian fighter Fiat G-55, created in 1968 to the most recent production, the passion of a team of people who made the scale modelling a real philosophy of life.

From prototypes to the real thing : look back along the process of development and production of scale model kits. Great attention to detail and historical accuracy from the preliminary study, to the mass production through the design, renderings, testing and molding.

Giving the dream its external appearance : packaging and image : the Italeri story through the evolution of the logo, packaging, instruction sheets, the PRMs, the website, but also a gallery  of the best and most famous covers  that made the history of scale modelling.





Fifty years of scale models : the fifty most significant scale models crossing fifty years of our company activities. 

 


The book "Italeri 1962-2012, fifty years of Italian Modelling”  will have its official presentation in the next Nuremberg Toy Fair, and will be available in shops starting from the end of February
